Minwool Rock Fibres Ltd. Was Incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 2nd August, 1988 to establish mineral wool manufacturing activity(Rock Wool/Slag Wool ). The products manufactured by the Company are broadly used for Thermal Insulation (Hot & Cold) and Acoustic Insulation.

The Company is professionally Board Managed Company with the Directors having vast industrial background and experience of over 3 decades in insulation activity.

The Company has gone into commercial production in 1991 and has the pride to mention having largest market share as a single manufacturer in India.

Achievements by the Company :
The Company has the manufacturing capacity of 12000 M.T. Of ROCKWOOL products in various forms for domestic and industrial insulation applications. The Company's products conforming to all Indian Standards (IS) specifications and are approved by the major industrial consultants such as M/s Engineers India Ltd., Gas Authority of India, Humphrey & Glassgow etc. In the Indian Market and internationally approved by AIRLIQUIDE of France, MITSUI of Japan and BEETCHEL etc., The Company is having laboratory for in-house testing of Raw Material, Process and finished products to ensure quality control, as laid down by the Indian Standards (IS). The Company is in the process for accreditation of ISO Standard.

The Company has also exported materials to various countries on meeting the specifications laid down by the customers from time to time.

The Company has started industrial services division in 1995 with an objective of product guidance and other services related to sale and application on usage of the product and since been doing well. The Company is presently operating its optimum capacity utilisation.

Products :
Manufacturers and exporters of mineral wool (Rock Wool/Slag Wool). PRODUCTS : -Minrock Loosewool -Minrock Lightly bonded mattresses -Minrock Resin Bonded Slabs -Minrock Rockwool Sectional Pipe Insulation. Minrock Loosewool : Minrock Loosewool is a robust thermal insulation material specially suited for irregularly shaped vessels and surfaces. It consists of long, fine fibres spun from molten natural rock with a small amount of dust suppression agent. It is specifically designed for cryogenic uses where low levels of organics are essential for safety. Minrock Lightly bonded mattresses : Minrock Lightly Resin Bonded Mattresses have excellent stability and has no chicken feathering which pollutes the atmosphere during application. It has controlled thickness and density resulting in predictable heat losses. Mattresses are available with lamination of Galvanised Iron / Stainless Steel Hexagonal Wire Mesh on one or both sides and stitched with Galvanised Iron / Stainless Steel Wire. Minrock Resin Bonded Slabs : Minrock Resin Bonded Slabs are used for both hot and cold insulation. Minrock Slabs have got high noise reduction coefficient and is mainly used for insulation of flat & curved surface. Minrock Slabs are also available with lamination of Aluminium Foil, Craft Paper etc. Minrock Rockwool Sectional Pipe Insulation : Minrock Rockwool Sectional Pipe Insulation are supplied as one piece section of one Meter length upto 4" dia with slit along longitudinal axis and in two sections for 4" dia and above. Pipe Sections are easily installed by opening the slit and springing the section into position over the pipe.
