M/s. Speciality Papers Ltd. Is a 41 year old company, a pioneer in the field of speciality M.G. Papers in the southern Gujarat region. It was taken over by its present promoter Mr. Mekan Gala in 1998-99. Since then this erstwhile sick unit started its climb to recovery and today, stands completely turned around. This turn around could come only through astute business acumen, sheer hard work and dedication of Mr. Gala who not only took the help of top professional technical talent available in the industry for new technology but also devised innovative product mix and business strategy to come out trumps. The present turn over of the company is Rs. 12 crores per annum.

This mill is strategically located along the banks of river Kolak which provides for ample water needed to run the operations of paper mill. The industrial township of Vapi is easily the industrial heartland of Gujarat state and has the infrastructure needed to run the industries of all kind. All infra-structural facilities like Electric supply, communication, suppliers of raw materials, chemicals, mechanical and electric machinery are available in plenty to cater to the need of the industries. Support is further enhanced by organizations like Gujarat Electricity Board, Gujarat Pollution Control Board, communications department ( Bharat Sanchar Nigam ) to round up the facilities to run an industrial unit in an efficient manner.

The product range Manufactured by Speciality Papers Ltd.Includes. White and coloured M.G. Tissues usually made in the substance of 21 GSM are manufacuted in reels and sheets. Reels are used for printing and for making paper napkins of various sizes used in restaurants whereas sheets are used for packaging of various goods including bangles, shoes, fruits and sweets.
