Agarwal Industries Limited had its humble beginning as an oil-expelling Unit in the early 40's at the Azamabad Industrial area, Hyderabad. From there on, the Industry witnessed a steady growth into a full fledged edible oil industry during the next five decades.

Presently, the factory constitutes of a Vanaspati plant, an oil refinery, each of capacity 100 MT per day and 200 MT per day respectively and a solvent extraction plant of 250 MT per day capacity and a soap plant of 25 MT per day. Recently the company has established 400 MT per day capacity refinery which can be scaled up to 600 MT per day at Kakinada port under the government exemption.

This exemption was made available to all units that were eligible under "The Pipeline Industry Scheme" announced by the Government Of India under "Target 2000" scheme provided such Units commenced commercial production on or before the 31st March 2002. It is noteworthy that Agarwal Industries Ltd. Has one of the BIGGEST REFINING capacities in South India.

Seeing the huge demand for steel in the growing Indian Economy, the group is now venturing into Steel Industry and is coming up with a plant of Sponge Iron with a manufacturing capacity of 200 MT per day. The company plans to set up a fully integrated steel plant to manufacture 1lac Mts of Finished steel per annum with a 5 Mw Power plant. This unit is coming up in Mahboobnagar District of Andhra Pradesh which is apprx.70 kms away from Hyderabad.

The group is also one of the leading processors and exporters of Granites and its products from South India. Led by a qualified & skilled management that adheres to client service of the highest order based on principles of commitment, creativity and innovation, AGARWAL GROUP OF INDUSTRIES has been able to achieve remarkable success in a short span of time.

Agarwal Industries is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of Vanaspati in the country, specially in South India, by virtue of their sustained market presence with total quality products. In addition to manufacture, the company has been importing edible oils in bulk from Far East and Latin American countries for captive consumption as well as trading. The Company is also a registered export house for De-Oiled meal.

The Industry is spread over an area of about twelve acres employing about 500 people, working round the clock. The Company has been marketing Vanaspati and refined oils in the brand name of Gold Mohar, Gold Cup and Gold Coin.

Currently functioning from a sprawling 12 acres land at Azamabad, (in the heart of the city), Agarwal Industries was founded in the year 1940 by parents of Mr.Anirudh Prasad Agarwal and since then has maintained the strictest quality control norms, making their product Gold Mohar a leading brand-name in every household of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. During the past over twenty score years of service, the Group's turnover has exceeded far above from its competitors.
