Spectrochem Instruments (SCI) was incorporated in 1996. Prior to the incorporation, Spectrochem Instruments was a closely held family partnership company with the name Analytical Spectral Utilities (ASU) established in 1992.
ASU & SCI were both founded by Dr. T.H.Rao & Mr. Madhav Tenneti. Dr. Rao is a leading Analytical chemist with over 40 years of experience in Analytical Instrumentation & Lab & process automation. Mr. Madhav is an Embedded systems design engineer with over 10 years experience. The founder's vision was to introduce high technology Analytical, Lab & process instrumentation comparable to the best brands in the world market at affordable price to Indian scientists & industry.
At Spectrochem Instruments we design & develop a wide variety of special accessories and instruments used in analytical Chemistry, Medical & Bio-Technology, Lab & Process automation, Environmental engineering. We have to our credit products, which became import substitutes for a number of Accessories for ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETER. Products manufactured by us have such precision & reliability that many MNC companies represented in INDIA source accessories for AAS from us. The three INDIAN AAS manufacturers also source accessories from us. We started out manufacturing accessories for ATOMIC ABSORPTION SPECTROMETER (AAS).
Today we have four product lines. All products are completely indigenously designed & developed. We follow good manufacturing practices. All our products undergo rigorous burn in tests before they are dispatched. Our test procedures are at par with International standards. We guarantee similar (in some cases) or even better performance as compared to that of the best-imported equipment. As a matter of fact, the legendry Perkin Elmer Corporation (INDIAN Office) sells our equipment. Every year we add two new products to our product lines.
Apart from manufacturing we also undertake turnkey projects. One such project we completed was STATIC ROCKET MOTOR TESTBED for DRDO (SF Complex JAGDALPUR). We have designed several analytical lab facilities for some of our esteemed customers. One such lab is the one at SF complex JAGDALPUR (Chatisgad). We also have expertise in Scientific, analytical & industrial automation software development. We have developed high-speed data acquisition software for static rocket motor test. Another software product we developed was for refurbished AAS. We have to our credit over 10 AAS upgrades. We repair & service all major imported AAS, ICP & DCP spectrometers.
