Made in cylindrical or pleated form with single or multi-layer screens, a large variety of metals, designs and configurations are available in the 5-250 micron selectivity range, with up to 700 degrees F maximum operating temperature and with an 800 PSI DP collapse pressure rating. Considered cleanable and reusable, Metallic Filters are applied to critical applications and final filtration due to their sturdy design and very high differential pressure-safe ratings. -Air-Oil Separators :- Over 300 models of air-oil separator elements are available utilizing a cylindrical or pleated design of microglass with a variety of flanges, gaskets and kits. Air flow capacities up to 3000 CFM / element with 0.3- 10-micron aerosol selectivity and up to 99.9% removal efficiency are available. These elements are limited, however, to 225oF operating temperature at 50 PSI DP maximum differential pressure. A variation of these air-oil separator elements are the Mist Eliminator Elements which are used for the elimination of ale oil smoke and mist from mechanical and rotary vacuum pumps -Filtration Bags :- Filtration Bags were developed as an inexpensive element with large filtration area for the removal of hard, granular contaminants such as atmospheric dust and scale from lubricating oils. Made from special blend of fibers, the flat filtration bags are available in a number at sizes designed for gravity or low-pressure oil circulating systems in steel and paper mills and turbine oil conditioning systems. Round filtration bags are available in two sizes in a variety of materials and selectivity is from 1-800 microns. Well-suited for either open or pressure systems in the process industry, these bags offer fast change- over, high solids capacity and efficient retention of solids in the bag for safe disposal. -Pleated Media Elements :- Pleated Media Elements are ideally suited for removal of hard, granular contaminants from lubricating oils, hydraulic oils, fuels and water. These elements are made of special resin-impregnated cellulose or synthetic media, corrugated and pleated to achieve extended area for, high flow rates, low-pressure drop and microscopically fine filtration. A wide variety of models and sizes are available to cover flow rates up to 300 GPM/ element, 0.25-BO micron filtration selectivity, and 4200 PSI DP collapse pressure when screen supported media are used. Multi-layer laminated micro-glass assures Beta 75-300 absolute ratings at high flow rates and large dirt-holding capacities -Spin on filters :- Spin-On Elements ore disposable elements in a self-contained metal housing used for removal of contaminants from hydraulic and lubricating oils fuels, water and air. Containing surface or depth-type media such as pleated paper, synthetic or micro gloss fibers, or metal screens, these elements ore suitable for up to 100 GPM/element, 700 PSIG operating pressure and 3-150 micron filtration efficiency. Several hundred models are currently available from AOF. Depending on the application, these elements are available with metric thread, screw thread or pipe thread connections. Many spin-on element ore available with built-in, anti-drain valves and bypass valves to provide safe operation under adverse conditions. -Radial Fin Elements :- Radial Fin Elements ore extended area, star-shaped elements developed for the removal of atmospheric dust from the air intake of compressors, blowers, and engines and for the removal of hard contaminants from hydraulic fluids, lubricating fuel oils and process fluids. Most radials fin elements ore mode from mono-filament woven fabrics, or felt media mode from natural or synthetic fibers. The filtration efficiency range covers 0 wide variety of media from 0.3-200 micron selectivity with a 100-1000 degree F temperature range and 70-100 PSI DP collapse pressure, with supporting screens.
