Pallets are used as a base to support in storing and transporting of all types of goods in general. They are used for exporting grains, chemicals, pharmaceutical, perishables, food items etc. Pallets are made in general made with wood, but their usage was riddled with problems like fungus, pests and insects, nails and splinters. There is a problem in their disposal as it carried the threat of land filling/burning etc. Continuous research has gone into finding the substitute for wood all over the world. M/s Pack Tech International (principal of Sri Sidhi Vinayak) with their continuous research have produced a light w eight thermoplastic pallets three years ago. They are eco - friendly, lightweight, insulating and recyclable.
