General Auto Spares Company (GASCO) was established in the year 1971 by a group of enterprising technocrat entrepreneurs under the leadership of Mr.C Venkataraman as General Asbestos Company. The group pooled in their experience and know-how in friction material technology to build the enterprise. Mr. Venkataraman had a vision to build a customer centric enterprise in an era when the Indian Economy was a sellers market. He gave up a successful career as a development engineer, which spanned over reputed corporations like HAL, Ashok Leyland, Rane Madras and Rane Brake Linings to fulfill his vision.GASCO is in the business of manufacturing friction material for diverse applications. We at GASCO are committed to provide quality friction material as per customer requirement and ensure total customer satisfaction.
