Bhagyanagar Laboratories saw its inception in the year 1972. We are a small scale industry situated at the Engineering Entrepreneurs Industrial Estate, Balanagar, Hyderabad.

The people behind Bhagyanagar Laboratories are Dr. S. Suseela and Mr. S. Ranga Rao. Both Dr. Suseela and Mr. Ranga Rao were with the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune as scientists for about 10 years. Rod Thermistors for Radiosonde- the product manufactured by Bhagyanagar Laboratories is a culmination of the research efforts put in by Dr. S. Suseela and Mr. S. Ranga Rao.

Since three decades we are manufacturing indigenously developed vital import substitute components (Rod Thermistors for Radiosonde) for weather research. Since 1974 our thermistors are being supplied continuously to the India Meteorological Department, Govt. Of India, New Delhi. We also exported our thermistors to the United States of America.

Keeping track of the rapidly changing global scenario in the industrial front, we felt the need for diversification and accordingly in the year 1989 have launched our new product- Chelated Micronutrients for agriculture and aquaculture. At that time, we sensed the necessity for quality trace element fertilizers and as a result chelates were developed. We, for the first time in India have developed various chelates and their mixtures under the brand name Bhagya.
