Description :
Bushings manufactured by BHEL since 1962 are in service in India and abroad for applications like Transformer, Traction, Switchgear, Cable box, Substations and Laboratories. Bushings for special applications can be designed and supplied to suit client?s specifications. A Prototype for the 800 kV Bushing has already been developed.
BHEL manufactured Bushings conform to the IEC, IS, BS and ANSI standards and testing systems are in accordance with National Accreditation Board for Labs. (NABL) recognized by APLAC. Most of the processes are controlled to achieve tan delta less than 0.5% against 0.7% as specified in standards.
