Description :
Copper acts as a component of many enzymes. It helps in the production of iron compounds in the plant. It also has a role in the absorption of carbon dioxide.
During dry seasons copper deficiencies may occur. It may occur due to liming of soil and excess usage of NPK. The crops that are most affected by copper deficiencies are cereals, oil seeds, fruit and vegetable crops.
Copper deficiencies generally cause necrosis at the tip of the leaves and proceeds along the margins giving the leaves a withered appearance. Under most severe conditions, the leaves may be lost and the whole plant may appear withered.
Bhagya Cop is chelated copper EDTA, is easily soluble in water and can be sprayed along with other agrochemicals. A foliar spray of 1gm/litre solution on crops after obtaining sufficient foliage is recommended to correct all normally occurring deficiencies. Exact dosage depends on the plant health and local soil conditions.
